Do you pick a word or theme for the year? ✨
I always pick a word that helps me to choose what to focus on throughout the year, so I can look out for opportunities that tie in with my intention. A couple of years ago I chose "renew", and spent the year looking out for things that would renew me personally and professionally:
💡 taking several part time courses (in children's book illustration, iPhone video editing, and creative thinking)
✨ making an effort to seek connections in the real world with other people who would "renew" my creative practice
🌿 finding little moments of peace and meditation (like my fav spot by the lake)
I haven’t settled on a word for 2023 yet – have you?
