English translation: my Muesli and Granola book
Quick update on the book front. In addition to my latest book
(see snaps from
my book launch event at Harrods here
!) you might have noticed another book with my name on it in local bookstores in your area, if you live in the UK (also available
).
An English translation of my very first book Barres de céréales, muesli et granola maison has been released in the UK (and a US edition will be released soon, more details to follow in due course).
This book was definitely inspired by my life in France. After a few years living in Paris I was used to a new routine, trying new foods at the markets, and whipping up new recipes in various kitchens across Paris.
The recipes are a simple and straightforward approach to breakfast, cereals, and muesli-inspired treats. Try out different breakfast and snack ideas, from crumble toppings and fruit compotes, to porridge and gluten-free muesli bars. As one of my very first recipe projects, it definitely has a very different look and feel to my more recent books – the photos are entirely of the food (no snaps of me in this book!).
Hope you enjoy the translation. Now that wintertime is approaching, it’s a good opportunity to put the focus back on cooking nutritious breakfasts – and muesli, porridge and delicious homemade granola is a good place to start :)
This English version is published by Weidenfeld & Nicolson (Orion Books), photography by Akiko Ida.
And in case you missed it, here’s the book trailer for my latest book “My Little French Kitchen”.
